Loughcrew Cairns
Possibly the oldest cemetery in world, but not so easy to find it. Once we found it we are really glad that we got here. It feels like a very spiritual place even today. Loughcrew Cairns is one of Ireland’s largest Neolithic cemeteries, if not the oldest in the world dating back to 3500 - 3300 BC. This means that it has been built long before the pyramids in Egypt. More than a 1000 years earlier.

Loughcrew Cairns for us is very special, largely unknown and together with us only a handful of tourists who found their way up here. Don’t miss this one out.
